CELEBRANDO A ORUNMILA
** ** ** **
Iboru - Bendiciones Orunmila
The moral to this annecdote is that Shango was the first to own the chain and tablero, and always took good care of Eleggua. After working with it for a while he became bored and wanted to leave the responsibility and the pressure of always having to work. He then decided to pass this on to Orunmila with the condition to always share his portion of the earnings with Eleggua. The old-man "Orunmila" became greedie and didn't share his earnings then Eleggua closed all paths and people stopped coming to Orunmila.
The above legend is respected and followed in some rituals with Orunmila, never leave out Eleggua. Eleggua being the sole owner of all paths must be satisfied with the offering before you expect blessings.
Morals to learn: respect, don't break promises, greediness never pays, help-one-another.
